911


911 are a British boy band that consists of Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable and Simon 'Spike' Dawbarn. The band was formed in 1995 and in May 1996, they released their debut single.




911 Began when Jimmy met Spike working as a dancer on the show
The Hitman and Her. The two later found Lee and were signed by Virgin Records.







PROFILE

Lee Anthony Brennan

Lee was born on the 27th September 1973 in Carlisle. Though his ambition was to play football, Lee was unable to pursue this and joined 911 in 1995 after passing the audition. After their success, the band split in 2000, and Lee went on to do some solo singing, small acting rolls, and song writing ( Lee wrote Blue's 'If You Come Back' with ex Take That's Howard Donald). Lee is continuing to pursue his acting career, and still finds time for song writing and performing with 911.













Jimmy Constable

Jimmy was born on the 21st September 1971 in Toxteth (Liverpool). Like Lee, Jimmy was also into sport and had played football for Wrexham FC as a teenager. After try a few jobs, Jimmy became a dancer on a late night TV show called ' The Hitman and Her ', where he met Spike and went on to form 911. When 911 split Jimmy went through a tough time though found himself again after a serious car accident. Jimmy is now singing again and has co-written his solo album.













Simon "Spike" Dawbarn

Spike was born on the 14th August 1974 in Warrington. Spike like the others enjoys football, and supports Manchester United. After a job as a building worker, Spike also became a dancer on the late night TV show, 'The Hitman and Her', where he met Jimmy. Spike and Jimmy held auditions for their final member and in 1995 the group was complete. Spike is now doing the occasional performances with the band.

The band split up in February 2000, when they announced their break-up live on Chris Moyles' Radio 1 show.
